Today was a very successful day, lots of progress was made machining parts, and we received a defiant answer that we will have our sheet metal by Friday. So hopefully by Wednesday or Thursday, we will have a completed-ish practice robot, and by ship, we will have a completed and tuned competition robot! Today I was privileged with the opportunity to go help one of the mentors machine some parts at his shop. Since it was outside of the school, I was actually able to get my hands on some stuff! Mr.Smith walked me through how to use and program the CNC mill. And I was able to do a little work on the bridgeport. The parts we did were pocketing and drilling holes in some gears, and making some Awesome Bar arms. Here are some pictures of the processes.

Also once the meeting actually started, we hex broached some gears, and continued to organize all of the parts!
